Business Acquisitions: The quickest method to dramatically increase your revenue and bottom line profitability is through the acquisition of another business with similar synergies as your company. Essentially, buy a competitor. If you have hit a wall in the expansion of your business, you need to decide whether you should invest your time to formulate a plan on how to raise your business to a higher plateau. There are business acquisition strategies available to any size business. Even if you don't have cash there are a number of acquisition strategies to fund and/or execute a transaction. Example: An acquisition could be quantified to show your ability to pay back debt by incorporating the advantages of the acquisition's end result into a pro forma financial.

Fact is, many business owners don’t think to pursue this because they lack cash for a purchase and believe that cash is the only viable option. Please, do not confuse cash with currency. Currency comes in many forms.The question you need to look at is “Do you have currency?” For most of you the answer is yes.

The first recommendation I make is also the simplest and quickest method to double and triple your sales and profits. It is the tactical acquisition of another business. Purchase the business and the revenue stream and eliminated duplicated costs. You don't necessarily need cash to do this. Of course, this is a very complex area because it crosses a number of disciplines such as taxes, liability, marketing, etc. The key consideration is the possibility to buy other companies to expand your revenue and profit base WITHOUT cash. However, it must be approached  properly. I offer the ability to mentor and advise How to. We will first discuss how to prepare your business, financials and acquisition presentation. This is critical to success. The next step is to discuss the profile of the target company. The last is to discuss how to approach the company and make your presentation. Once the target company says yes, I will assist and guide to close the deal. This is a very sophisticated service and most appropriate for existing operating companies. An acquisition that will increase your revenue by $1,000,000 under the proper circumstances could drop $200,000 plus to your bottom line. In other words, as much as 20% of the gross revenue. Where do you begin?

I first review your business practices and financials analyzing your company's strengths and deficiencies. Specifically looking at whether your operation has the depth and capacity to absorb another company. We will do this over a series of 1 hour calls. As we proceed with this process, we discuss the pros and cons in taking the next step. The end result is intended to independently confirm the benefits versus risks of pursuing acquisitions. In the end we create a profile of the target company that will best suit your company's needs including what circumstances will allow you to purchase the a target company for little or no cash. You will find that as we complete each conference call a clearer picture or "game plan" will begin to emerge.

I know that this can sound pretty intimidating. However, it is my job to mentor you through the process. Almost all companies that are large now started off like you at some time and acquired their way to the size they are now. If you don't want to fall by the wayside you must always continue to grow.

My fee for consulting in the acquisition of another company ranges between 5% - 8% of the value of the acquired company due at the closing.
